About The Well

The Well is a private community of Jewish day school alumni in their 20s and 30s who are actually dating. Not swiping, not scrolling. Singles looking to meet someone from their background. At The Well, common ground is already in place.

The Well draws new names on Mondays and Thursdays. Introductions are intentional, thoughtful. Profile questions are relevant, focused, and speak to day school alumni where they are. The Well's chatbot Elli is designed and trained to make smart matches, while a small, curated team of real matchmakers are available for those interested in a more personal touch. A matchmaker's introduction can arrive any day it's ready. On Saturday, The Well is quiet. On Sunday, the Open Well offers a full day to search more profiles and revisit past introductions. At The Well, the first look is not always the last.
